Meet James Kaloma: Our Organic Banana Farmer from Mbale, Uganda

bananas

Who He Is
Every Sunday morning, a box marked  Royal Frut Fusion arrives in Nairobi on a Simba Bus — straight from Mbale, Uganda. That box is packed with organically farmed bogoya (ripe bananas) and matoke (cooking bananas), handpicked by none other than James Kaloma.

James is a dedicated banana farmer who has been growing fruit the natural way for over a decade. His farm, tucked in the lush highlands of Mbale, is a story of patience, resilience, and care — all wrapped in banana leaves.

What He Supplies to Royal Fruit Fusion
– 🍌 **Bogoya** – The sweet, soft variety of ripe bananas we serve fresh
– 🍃 **Matoke** – Green bananas used in our special Swahili-style banana stew

These bananas are delivered every week, maintaining freshness and quality thanks to James’ consistency and Simba Bus’ reliability.

Why We Love Working With Him
James doesn’t just grow bananas — he grows relationships.

His produce is 100% organic — no chemicals, no shortcuts. And every Saturday, he personally packages the harvest and ensures it boards the right bus, bound for our kitchen in Nairobi.

We admire his discipline and the pride he takes in making sure our customers get the best fruit, every single week.
